Again by clue 7, the woman who sat on the other side of Ms. Young from Ms. Mein ordered Sweet and Sour Pork. Diane didn't order the Sweet and Sour Pork (4). In clue 1, then, Ms. Rice ordered the Sweet and Sour Pork; and Diane sat between Ms. Rice and the diner who had the Moo Goo Gai Pan. By clue 5, Diane is Ms. Fortune, and Ms. Curry had the Moo Goo Gai Pan. Jennifer is Ms. Lamb (9). By clue 2, Monica sat between Anita and the woman who had the Hunan Beef; so Monica is Rice or Mein. If Monica were Rice, Diane Fortune would have eaten the Hunan Beef--no (5). Monica is Ms. Mein. Anita is Ms. Young, and Jennifer Lamb enjoyed the Hunan Beef (2). By clue 3, Heather was seated directly across from the one who chose Kung Pao Shrimp. Heather is Ms. Curry, and Anita had the Kung Pao Shrimp. By elimination, Ms. Rice is Kate, and Diane Fortune dined on General Tso's Chicken. Diane sat in the chair in front of the window (11), chair 1. Since Kate didn't have chair 2 (8), Heather did. Jennifer sat in chair 3, Monica in 4, Anita in 5, and Kate in 6. The six friends were seated around the table and chose Jade Dragon entrees as follows:
