Steamtown National Historic Site, located in
Scranton, Pennsylvania, is the only place in the
National Park System where the story of steam
railroading, and the people who made
it possible, is told.

This steam locomotive was built in June of 1923 by Montreal
Locomotive Works. It is still in use for public excursions and
documents an American railroading history that has not existed
for nearly a century.
